You would think I would be used to it by now – the ebb and flow of people in and out of my life, and especially my social (read: spiritual) circles.
For the last few days, I have been in password hell. I’m not sure exactly what I did to get sent here, but I don’t like it.
How are you? I’m okay, fine, hanging in, managing. All of these are true. Underlying them is a profound grief that makes okay, fine, hanging in, & managing difficult.
A few days ago, I celebrated my 46th birthday. I refuse to hide it, because many years ago I made a promise to myself that I would go about aging gracefully.
