Mixed Emotions

This past weekend was the 35th annual Spring Mysteries Festival. I’m definitely having some mixed emotions about my experiences. For the rest of this post, I’m going to use a good idea/bad idea format, with happy feels/sad feels.

Mary Malinski as Hera, Queen of Heaven

We did it! In less than a month, we turned our festival into a successful online event!

We didn’t get to do it live, in person.

So many people who would not otherwise have been able to attend were able to witness and participate in the Mysteries!

My family and I missed out on time with our family – both spiritual and blood.

Lady Mary Malinski, Archpriestess of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church of Canada

I am officially the Archpriestess of the Aquarian Tabernacle Church of Canada!

I did not receive the hugs or the cheers I would have received in person.

So many elders from around the continent gave me wonderful words of wisdom!

I did not get to bask in their heart-space.

The Mysteries touched and effected many people spread all over the world.

I missed being able to connect with people and talk to people in between rituals.

I got to sleep in my own bed, and my feet don’t hurt from all the walking!

I am emotionally and physically exhausted anyway.

Most of my sad feels have to do with being physically isolated, and I know that I am not alone in that. Remember that each person grieves in their own way, and in their own time. I know I am going to be processing it for quite a while.

Be gentle with yourself, and I will do the same.

Blessings,
Mary

  1. I completely understand your mixed emotions. I have many of the same ones! Including, Omg I got to be there for Mary’s installation as Archpriestess! / I didn’t get to hug her when she got installed!

Please know that I am saving up a HUGE hug for you for whenever we are allowed to hug our friends again. It’s going to be long and awkward and weird and full of all my love for you. <3
