I’m becoming more and more reliant on muscle testing to help me make decisions. When I’ve suggested it to others, though, I get confused looks. Looking back in my blog archives, I couldn’t find any posts, so here we are.

Muscle testing is based on the idea that your body inherently knows what it needs and what is best for you. Our brains are tricky. My mind has more than once convinced me that something I knew was not good for me was a great idea!
For example, I stress eat junk food. When I’m feeling stressed, my will power goes out the window. I want chips and pop and chocolate, and I want it bad! To help with my will power, I check in with my body. Most of the time, it will tell me that I can have one of those things, not all of them. And once in a while it will tell me yes. Eat all the junk food!
The more I tune in and listen to my body, the less regrets I have. One of the biggest things I muscle test about is exercise. Dealing with chronic pain, exercise isn’t always the best thing for my body, and yet, I also need to make sure I am moving my body regularly. When I check in with my body about exercising, or getting extra rest, or eating the right foods, or even making a decision whether or not to take an opportunity, I feel confident in my choice, and I FEEL better.
Explaining how to muscle test is a bit challenging, so a few years ago I made this video.
I hope this helps you as much as it has helped me!
Blessings,
Mary
