You may have noticed that I’ve been quiet the last few weeks. I was getting ready for Hekate’s Sickle Festival, of which we are now on the other side. I’m still quite tired from the heavy energetic lifting we did.
We set out to change our reality, in a massive way. Using the energy of the planets in our solar system, and the insights of astrology, as well as the collective intention of all the people at the Festival, we focused on turning the hearts of humankind to Earth stewardship and respect and care for everyone and everything on our home planet.
The state of the world can be extremely disheartening. Climate change, war, rampant exploitation of resources, species extinction, pollution… it’s overwhelming! And it can be all too easy to fall into the trap of thinking that there is nothing I can do, that one person doesn’t make that much difference.
Yet the lesson we learned this past weekend is that one person CAN make a difference. And collectively, those efforts, however small, ripple out exponentially.
I invite you to join me, and all of those who attended Hekate’s Sickle Festival, to spread kindness, respect, education, gratitude, awareness, and love out into the world. Light a candle, say a prayer, give a compliment. Learn, grow, and share.
As we left the property, the winds of change were blowing. I know the work we did has made a difference. It may take a little time to see the effects ripple out, and I am confident they will. And I will keep doing all the little things I can to make a difference.
