It’s been a very, very busy week. I actually started writing this post last week, and never got back to finishing it.
Last Sunday, my Circle put on a Yule Masquerade Ball in partnership with the Heathen Freehold Society of BC. It was a lot of work, and a lot of fun!
I was the Snow Queen for the event. I love to dress up, and I don’t have as many opportunities as I would like. So it was fun to put on a dress I had made several years ago, and don a mask, and be a hostess for the evening.
We had dancing, and a costume competition, and a raffle with AMAZING prizes. Honestly, we put on a pretty fantastic event, if I do say so myself.
I can’t take credit for it, though. There was a whole team of people, both from my group and the Heathen Freehold, who put in a ton of effort.
Also this past week was my baby’s 11th birthday. A little over a month ago, he asked for a surprise birthday party. Since then, he didn’t ask a single thing about it. Thankfully, I have connection to most of his friends’ parents. We managed to pull the surprise off – I even baked a cake without him knowing. He had absolutely no idea.
Work was surprisingly busy, so that kept me on my toes.
My Passion Planner arrived this week, too! So I’m starting to look forward and plan for the upcoming year.
I’ve got a brief week off of work, and so much I want to accomplish. Lots of sewing, some writing, and getting CD’s ready. That’s right, you will soon be able to order CD’s of my guided meditations!
