The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From the Tree

Sometimes I wonder if my positive habits are rubbing off on my children.  My husband snapped this pic of my 4 year old on the playground:

Meditating on the Playground

Aang Meditating
Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender)

Ok, so maybe the pose on the playground has more to do with Aang from the cartoon, Avatar: The Last Airbender, than it has to do with watching me.

However, a couple of weeks ago, he woke up while I was writing in my journal, and he came to sit on my lap.  He snuggled down, and when I said I was going to meditate he said he would too.  After we were done, he chimed in, “Meditating and snuggling…that’s the best!”

I guess I am rubbing off!

Blessings,

Mary

PS. Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends in Canada!

  1. Oh…I love the way you started this off! AND I must say to you my Lovely, you are the most powerful influence on your boys while they are young. And what ever it is you “empower” them with now, keeps them “empowered” as they grow up into men. You are the first woman in their life that they love and loves them. The rest is for the The Universe and Them. Isn’t it wonderful!!!!

Hugs and kisses and Blessings to you my Dear One.
